From Genesis onwards, 'sins' are defined as acts of will which are contrary to God's requirements. But being queer is not an act of will, people are born that way. The problem with queer people is a practical one for a tribal people living in a hostile environment - they need to keep the numbers up and queer people don't make babies! Goddidnlt write he Bible, people did, and people are not above putting their own words into the mouth of God if and when He forgets to mention something important to them!
It should also be recalled that sex and reproducion are specifically stated as part ofGods punishement of Adam and Eve " Your desire shall be for your husband," Indicating that desire was not part of the original human make-up. Taking ths further, Paul plaes stress on celibacy as being the most honourable and desired state, and almost all Christian churches place value on sexual abstinence even for the married.
So it would be less discriminatory if your churches were to return to basic doctrine and activley discourage every kind of sexual acivity, regarding them all as sinful.
For my part, I'd say that if God eixsts at all, then they are ineffable. That is, they don't give an eff about us!
