Don't confuse suffering and evil.

Suffering is a natural occurrence, one of the things the Stoics define as being not in our power. The only question is whether or not we let our suffering define and dominate us, or whether we continue to be ourselves in spite of it.

Evil is just somebody having an opinion that runs counter to yours.
