Does anybody out there actually believe that my style of writing even approximates the speech of a 64-year-old Yorkshireman, born three streets away from the docks in Hull who has smoked 20 a day since he was 16?

My objection to the robowhine is very simply that, to restate my point, my work is meant to be read, not heard!
