There are more than a few opinionated oddballs on Medium (it takes one to know one). You may, for instance, come across A Mere Hack, our resident Prophet of Doom. Then there was the guy who replied to my speculations of the sources of certain myths by going on a rant about how everything not explicable by a mathematical equation is 'woo'. Funny chap.
