Can't answer for anyone else, but I like having somebody go over my efforts before anyne else sees them. I'm not a trained typist, and when the fit is on me I two-finger type at ferocious pace. I go back over it afterwards, of course, but some of the typos still manage to slip past.

I also need someone to keep my proclivity for recondite and sesquipedalian vocabulary in check.
