Aside from the fact that most people under 40 get the bulk of their shopping delivered, it would have ot cost a lot less and be much more reliable.

I can see how it would go in our house. Anne would be like-

"Why did you buy that!"

After a week "It doesn't work, you can send it back!"

After two weeks: "He's called Rusty!"

After three weeks: "I always give Rusty a bit of fuss after he carries the shopping home!"

After a month "Did you remember to feed Rusty?"

After three months: "The weather's getting cold. I think we ought to buy a coat for Rusty."
