As someone who regards David Niven as the definitive Bond, I'm not going to comment on that.

I will say, though, that I see Idris Elba as better suited to the role of John Steed in any 'Avengers' reboot, opposite Alex Kingston as Cathy Gale or Emma Peel. I could also see him as The Fox or The Tiger in a 'Zoo Gang' reboot.

And, of course, as The Doctor!
