As an outsider, I'm puzzled by two things.

One is why anybody in anything approaching their right mind would ever vote for Trump now. It was mad enough the first time round, but now people have seen what he's like? Barking. Totally. Or dim as a Toc-H lamp!

Second. Why are the Democrats running such a lacklustre campaign behind such a lacklustre candidate? I'll admit I rather like Sen. Duckworth as a potential running mate, but would much rather have seen her going for the top spot.

I'll say nothing about Bernie Sanders except that only in America could a man whose politics are slightly to the right of Margaret Thatcher call himself a 'socialist'!

Of course, if worst come to worst, give us a shout. We'd be happy to have you back! (But you;ld have to learn to call soccer 'football')
