Applying the terms 'good' or 'bad' to anything outside human thought and actions is pointless. Nature, reality, the Universe - none of them recognise good or bad, which are purely human concepts.
The fact that we can come up with such ideas makes us an anomaly in nature, perhaps even anti-nature.
But as to what is good or bad, it's a simple question of harm. Does a thing cause harm to people? Then it's bad. Does it benefit people? Then it's good. Does it cause harm ot some but benefit others? Then it must be decided on the numbers - if it harms more people than it benefits, it's bad. If it benefits more than it harms, that's good. Utilitarianism?
Meaning is a matter for those who overthink things. Most folk restrict the meaning of their life to assuring an minimum standard of well-being for themselves and their families. Any 'crisis of meaning ' begins and ends with the difficulties they face in doing so. That requires restructuring of the economy, not reinventing religion or philosophy!
