Anyone who even considers putting a work email on personal device has serious priority issues! On-call doctors, police officers and so forth need work pagers. Nobody whose work doesn’t involve saving lives could have any possible reason for not waiting until they get to the office to read their messages. Apart from sycophancy or a bad boss; sycophants deserve all they get and if your boss is that bad, GTHO!
