Again, the impartiality of the Universe cannot be assumed. If designed, it must partake of the nature of its designer and follow their agenda, an agenda which we do not know and cannot afford to assume to be neutral. If spontaneous, the Univers must, and indeed seems to, discriminate in favour of beings which possess certain characteristics which allow for survival in an intrinsically hostile environment.

As to any sentient 'force' or being underlying or directing the processes, this must by its mantiure be more advanced and powerful than. History teaches us what happens when less powerful beings trust ot the benevolence of more powerful ones!
