Aargh! I'm still trying to convince people of the difference between Artificial Intelligence -which does not yet exist - and Virtual Intelligence, which is what all the stuff we have now is.

A true, self-aware, AI would not be something you could use to do a job. It would want to decide for itself what it was going to do!
